REFLECTION OF A MOTHER:

•I gave you life, but cannot live it for you.
•I can teach you things, but I cannot make you learn.
•I can give you directions, but I cannot be there to lead you.
•I can allow you freedom, but I cannot account for it.
•I can take you to church, but I cannot make you believe.
•I can teach you right from wrong, but I cannot always decide for u.
•I can buy you beautiful clothes, but I cannot make u beautiful inside.
•I can offer you advice, but I cannot accept it for you.
•I can give you love, but I cannot force it upon you.
•I can teach you to share, but I cannot make you unselfish.
•I can teach you respect, but I cannot force you to show honor.
•I can advise you about friends, but cannot choose them for you.
•I can advise you about sex, but I cannot keep you pure.
•I can tell you the facts of life, but I can’t build your reputation.
•I can tell you about drinks, but I can’t say “no” for you.
•I can warn u about drugs but I can’t prevent you from using them.
•I can tell you about lofty goals, but I can’t achieve them for you.
•I can teach u about kindness, but I can’t force you to be gracious.
•I can warn you about sins, but I cannot make you moral.
•I can pray for you, but I cannot make you walk with God.
•I can tell you how to live, but I cannot give you eternal life.
•I can love you with unconditional love all of my life and I will.

PISTIS Prayer Points

This year is the year of unlimited possibilities for me. Because I’ll see the invisible, I’ll do the impossible. Because I’ll touch the untouchable, I’ll achieve the incredible. Because I’ll hear the inaudible, I’ll have the unimaginable, because of me my family will not know poverty. I’ll go in and out of my house in peace. Violence and crying of sorrow shall not be heard in my camp because my God’s idea for me cannot fail. I shall not fail this year. Favor shall overwhelm my endeavors. This is my year of unlimited greatness. I shall not struggle to be recognized. My gifts shall announce my coming. I am entitled to daily fruitfulness. Every darkness in my life shall give way to the light of God. All my lack will give way to abundance. I shall have uncommon marital bliss this year. The rejected shall become the selected. People shall hear my testimonies and follow me to God. In everything I do, I’ll succeed……….

What I have never done before for good, I’ll do this year. By the time this year ends, I’ll look back with joy and ahead with great expectations. I’ll take charge of my life as I master my time. I’ll discover how to maximize my time and add value to it. I’ll humble myself before the Lord and he shall lift me up. I’ll become a star of my family and the hope of my generation because I know where I am going; the whole world will step aside and follow me. May I find favor with God and men. May I grow in wisdom. May I walk in dominion over every circumstances and situation. May everyday in this year be my days of success and purpose. May I rise and shine. May I live in my own house. May my one day come. May I not be a disgrace to my family. May the favor of God find me. To this year I’ll never forget to act as if it were impossible to fail because for people like me, the word failure doesn’t exist; my success is non-negotiable. This year will be the greatest year of my life and the beginning of unprecedented success in my life………..

Those who laughed at me before shall come to laugh with me. Every bad thing that has been with me till this point, I shall henceforth enter into the rest and God shall take me to the place of my greatness and destiny, I shall have visions that are clear, virtues that are right and victory that is certain. I am blessed beyond curse, raised above terror and established beyond oppression, I shall not lack counsel and ideas. I shall have breakthroughs…..

I shall have eyes that see, ears that hear and heart that understands. In confusion, I shall be enlightened. There shall be for me beauty in the place of ashes, the oil of gladness in place of spirit of heaviness. Even closed doors against my goodness, greatness and destiny shall open on their accord. I shall be instructed and illuminated within the spirit of God. I shall do the right thing at the right time. I shall rise above any obstacles and be carried on the wings of eagles. God will remember me for good. I shall fulfill and not frustrate destiny.

Christ shall live in me. This year all I wish for me is the best. Amen.
